Response from Mr Ammar Allouni

Thanks a lot for your review and feedback. It is great to know that you had great care by myself and under my care. However I can not take all the credits myself. I work with highly skills plastic and orthopaedic surgeons. Surgeons are just a small group of a very highly skilled orthoplastic team at hull University Teaching Hospital. Our team of ward nursing staff, theatre staff, surgeons, therapists, junior doctors and managers all thrive to provide the best care we can to you and other patients. It was pleasure looking after you during your stay and wish you a speedy recovery and the very best in completing your treatment journey in the future.

I found dr allouni to be a very nice consultant who was willing to listen to my concerns. He performed lypomodelling and scar revision in December 2020 His work was excellent, I found I could speak to him openly without embarrassment, which is a comfort when having breast surgery I look forward to my next operation with him to create 3D nipples as part of my reconstruction, I’m sure he will continue to do an amazing job x

I was referred to Mr Allouni from the local Minor Injury Unit following a finger trauma. The whole team were very efficient. Mr Allouni took time to explain the extent of the damage and he discussed with me what he felt needed to be done. He explained I needed surgery under local anaesthesia. The surgery was done that same morning by another lovely Dr a Miss Riyat. Throughout the whole process from the reception staff, to nursing team, Consultant and the Dr who operated I feel I have received excellent care, was involved in the decision making and kept informed throughout. I was given clear advice on discharge. Everything was very clean and I felt safe. I would definitely recommend the plastic team at HRI under Mr Allouni.
